Overview

The Salesforce.com Systems Administrator will perform hands-on technical implementation, project management, administration and system evangelizing of the Salesforce platform. This person will also be responsible for executing day-to-day configuration, maintenance, and support for the platform. The successful candidate will embrace the challenge of solving critical business problems acting as the knowledge expert for evolving new processes within the company.

This candidate will work closely with the CRM team which is dedicated to improving the sales and service experience using the Salesforce platform. The administrator will also be responsible for aiding the Digital Marketing team in leveraging the Salesforce platform to drive marketing automation through Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Qualifications

Required

  • Salesforce Admin Certification
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years professional experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Professional experience in a functional role concerned with Salesforce.com Administration at an enterprise level above 250 users preferred in either Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud environments.

 

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com Sales and Service Cloud best-practices and functionality
  • Experience with Salesforce.com Report Writing and Administration
  • Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred
  • Basic understanding of Salesforce development preferred (Apex, Triggers, Visualforce Pages, Lightning Components)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an administrator of a Salesforce environment with 400+ users
  • Implement enhancements and roll-out new features to the Salesforce.com platform
  • Implementation experience with custom objects, workflows, process builder, flows, formulas and validations Rules
  • Assist in the continued maintenance and upgrading of the Salesforce environment
  • Design and execute solutions for common challenges
  • Research, identify, implement, and maintain integrated Salesforce applications to improve customer and end user experiences
  • Work directly with stakeholders and software engineers to plan and implement technical solutions
  • Resolution of internal service desk support tickets by Salesforce.com users
  • Support and provide training content for the continued growth of the Salesforce skillset across the organization
