Are you a flow-chart junkie? Do you love solving problems and crunching numbers? As a Business Process and Customer Data Analyst you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Customer Experience Technology & Data in working with subject matter experts and leadership to analyze current customer business processes and identify opportunities to improve and automate processes using Salesforce Service Cloud. The Business Process and Customer Data Analyst role will also support the reporting needs of the Customer Experience Team. Where applicable, they will provide reporting requirements to other business intelligence teams as outlined by Customer Experience leadership. Additionally, this role includes supporting customer data management initiatives. Areas of customer data management includes data connections between systems, data hygiene and standardization, auditing data fields pertaining to customer attributes with the ultimate goal of one-to-one, relevant communications.

As a Business Process expert, you will lead process definition discussions, documenting existing (current state) processes and documenting requirements for desired (future state) processes. Requirements will be provided to the system administrators and developers. As well, you will be responsible to communicate these changes to impacted stakeholders and work with training teams to roll-out new processes. Following a project’s implementation, you will be called upon to gather and analyze information to determine if the processes are being executed effectively, as designed.

As a passionate Data Analyst, this role turns data into information and information into insight. Upper management will use these insights to drive business decisions. The ideal person will leverage multiple sources of data in order to tell a comprehensive data story. They will define analytical requirements, building reports and dashboards for various audiences and provide clear, concise explanations of the derivations of metrics and other analysis. Responsibilities include tracking and analyzing sales and financial metrics relating to pipeline, sales goals, cross-selling and overall performance. You will leverage other reporting solutions such as Microstrategy to augment Salesforce data. The individual in this role will work to ensure data integrity across reports being utilized divisionally; maintaining a reporting dictionary defining core measures on which reports are built. The candidate will also understand the importance of Stuller’s Data and act in accordance with organizational priorities. The candidate works to ensure that reporting activities are executed accurately, completely and on time, coordinating with all necessary parties including business unit clients and other analysis teams. The candidate must possess intermediate SQL and advanced MS Excel and work collaboratively across divisions and business units.




  • Bachelor's Degree with specialization in computer science, finance, accounting or business administration preferred
  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing process improvements
  • 3+ years B2B marketing environment, customer lifecycle management efforts preferred
  • Extensive database experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency: Word, PowerPoint, Access and Visio
  • Advanced MS Excel - including pivot table creation and use, PowerPivot experience a plus
  • MySQL experience a plus
  • MicroStrategy experience preferred or experience with other BI solutions
  • Salesforce™ experience preferred or experience with other CRM solutions

  • Analyze current processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated
  • Proactively make recommendations for process enhancements or other actions to improve productivity
  • Facilitate cross-functional project teams to create current state and future state business process models
  • Work with business process owners to document Business Requirements
  • Work with business process owners to analyze and recommend improvements to business processes
  • Captures and translates business function and design requirements for technical implementation by a Systems Administrator; documenting the workflow/use cases/activities as supported by the system
  • Develop testing approaches and test plans/scripts for verifying/validating that new or modified business processes work as designed. Test the entire, end-to-end, process, including manual steps and steps provided or supported by technology
  • Coordinate the testing of new business solutions
  • Collect and collate feedback on process performance and measure effectiveness
  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Measure and report on program financial and KPI metrics
  • Work in a collaborative, cross functional manner as well as in an individual contributor capacity
  • Extensively collaborate with Stuller’s Loyalty Program Specialist
  • Data analysts must look at the numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
  • Attention to Detail: Data is precise. Data analysts have to make sure they are vigilant in their analysis to come to correct conclusions.
  • Math Skills: Data analysts need math skills to estimate numerical data.
  • Communication Skills: Data analysts are often called to present their findings, or translate the data into an understandable document. You will need to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting solutions such as MicroStrategy
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
  • Strong strategic thinker with ability to plan and coordinate activities across multiple teams, touchpoints and technologies
